Deep Pressure Isn’t Always Better

Have you ever thought:

“If it hurts, it must be working.”

Not necessarily.

When a muscle feels tight, pushing harder isn’t always the answer.

Sometimes, too much pressure can make the body tense up even more.

A Good Massage Is About More Than Pressure

Effective massage isn’t about how much pressure you can tolerate.

It’s about understanding how the muscles work and knowing where to work, when to work, and how much is appropriate.

When the right muscles are addressed, the body can often release without having to force it.

Your Body Doesn’t Need to Be Punished

You shouldn’t have to hold your breath, tense up, or grip the table while waiting for the therapist to finish.

Massage should help your body feel better—not make it fight back.

A Gentle Reminder

You don't have to hurt to get results.

Good bodywork is about knowledge, intention, and working with the body—not fighting against it.
