Massage Doesn’t Have to Hurt to Work

Some people think a massage only works if it hurts.
It doesn’t.
More pressure doesn’t always mean better results.
Your body responds to the right amount of pressure for you. Sometimes that means deep work. Sometimes it means slow, gentle touch.
The goal isn’t to make you uncomfortable.
The goal is to help your body relax, release tension, and move more easily.
Listen to Your Body
During your massage, speak up if something feels too intense.
Your massage should work with your body, not against it.
A Gentle Reminder
You don’t have to “tough it out” to get a good massage.
The best pressure is the pressure your body needs that day.
